The next SARS Annual Meeting will take place at the University of Nottingham Medical School, Nottingham on 4th & 5th January 2012.

Information for Presenters
In order to present your abstract and for it to be published in BJS you must register for the meeting.
On the day, you will be able to upload your presentation as soon as you have checked in at the registration desk. You will need to do this at least 2 hours prior to the start time of your session, so please allow plenty of time. The registration desk will open at 7.30am and remain open all day.

Poster presentations
If you are presenting a poster then you will be able to display your poster when you have checked in. The poster boards will accommodate posters up to size A0, and these can be portrait or landscape. Posters will be displayed in the Clinical Skills Centre on the Ground Floor, and judging will take place over the two lunchtime breaks.
Posters P1-P29 will be judged on Wednesday 4th January and Posters P30-P43 will be judged on Thursday 5th January.

Travel to the meeting
Please be aware that there is very little, if any, parking at the Medical School. There are taxis outside the station and you should ask for the Medical School Entrance, Queen’s Medical Centre. Alternatively there is a park and ride service, with a free bus, from Queen’s Drive.
SARS Office Christmas Closure
Please note that the SARS office will be closed from Friday 23 December, and will not reopen until after the Annual Meeting.
