The 2025 Annual Meeting of the SRS took place on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th January 2025 at St Catharine’s College. The meeting followed the usual format and centred on the presentation of research undertaken by surgeons in training, scientists and medical students.

The 2-day Annual Meeting was preceded by a free training day for trainees and medical students on Wednesday 15th January 2025.

SRS Young Investigator Awards

Medical students and trainees submitting an elevator pitch proposal or an abstract for the main meeting were eligible for consideration for a SRS Young Investigator Award. Awards of £300 to help with travel and attendance costs were made on merit.
